SCHOLARSHIPS & PAYMENT PLANS
A limited number of day use scholarships may be available. Please contact us to let us know you would like to be placed on our scholarship list for the 2019 Symposium. Names will be drawn out of a hat in early December 2018.
If you are not in need of scholarship assistance but it would be financially helpful to pay for your retreat over a period of time, we do offer a three month installment plan to ease the burden of paying a retreat fee all at once.
A minimum non-refundable deposit of 1/3 of your registration fee must be paid up front, and the remaining balance must be paid within 90 days. Please contact us to set up a payment plan.
If you cancel your registration before October 1, 2018, you will receive a 50% refund and the remaining 50% can be applied as a credit to a future Symposium. After October 1, 2018 all registration fees are non-refundable.
Registration is 100% transferable and can be transferred to another guest up to one week before the first day of the 2019 Symposium.
Add-on purchases, such as audio pre-order and banquet tickets, are 100% refundable and transferable up to one week prior to the first day of the 2019 Symposium.
To request a refund, please contact us and include your order number in the message.
Why do I have to pay?
There are no dues or fees for A.A. / Al-Anon membership alone. However, this Symposium, like any conference, is an event, not a regular meeting. It requires months of planning, preparation and money. Since this event is held in a hotel there is a charge for the use of the facilities. The hotel requires that we purchase coffee and food. Other expenses include travel and lodging for our speakers, printing of flyers and programs, postage and badge supplies. Such an event requires a substantial amount of money. The 2019 Symposium is self-supporting. No group monies are used to pay for the event. No baskets are passed. The cost of the event is paid through registration.
